Update of Pro Wrestling NOAH Global League Tournament!

I got word of Pro Wrestling NOAH Global League and they are posting every day of the Global League schedule on their Facebook page. In my last blog, I mention about that Chris Hero and Colt Cabana are going to be in it. I found out which blocks the guys are at. Chris will be in block A while Colt will be in block B. I know from last year, Chris was in block B and Colt was in block A, so, this year is really different. I notice from their Facebook posts that they described Colt Cabana as Serious but sometimes funny, which I do refer Colt as the Funny man, mostly because he does comedy and Chikara on occasions (back then), but I know Colt is serious after reading about Colt wrestling against Adam Pearce in a seven series of matches over the National Wrestling Alliance World Championship. As for Chris, the post on the NOAH Facebook says Rolling Elbow with Heart and Soul. That's is mostly true. You can say, the nickname Knockout Artist, was mostly been used from his time in WWE and mostly in the independent scene is what you can describe Chris these days as he is a young indy legend. Chris has been wrestling in Japan for nearly most of his career besides Germany, UK, and the United States.

Despite I only know little of Japanese, I do have a reliable source of the schedule in English. The source is Puroresu Spirit and they provided news and schedules of all Japanese wrestling promotions. Here is the schedule of Chris Hero and Colt Cabana for the Pro Wrestling NOAH Global League tournament and non-tournament matches:

October 16th (Tournament matches):

Block A: Chris Hero vs. Quiet Storm
Block B: Colt Cabana vs. Shelton Benjamin

October 17th (Non-Tournament match):

Big in USA (Hero and Cabana) vs. Akitoshi Sato and Quiet Storm

October 18th (Tournament matches):

Block A: Chris Hero vs. Takashi Sugiura (Winner of last year's Global League Tournament)
Block B: Colt Cabana vs. Takashi Iizuka

October 22nd (Tournament and Non-Tournament matches):

Block B: Colt Cabana vs. Muhammed Yone

Ten man tag team match: Naomichi Marufuji, Takashi Sugiura, Chris Hero, Zack Sabre Jr. (Winner of PWG 2015 BOLA Tournament) & Super Crazy vs. Minoru Suzuki, Shelton Benjamin, Takashi Iizuka, Taichi &  TAKA Michinoku

October 23rd (Tournament and Non-Tournament matches):

Block A: Chris Hero vs. Satoshi Kojima

Eight man tag team match: Takashi Sugiura, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Colt Cabana & Akitoshi Saito vs. Minoru Suzuki, Lance Archer, Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Shelton Benjamin

October 24th (Non-Tournament match):

Big in USA vs. Takashi Sugiura & Akitoshi Saito

October 25th (Tournament and Non-Tournament matches):

Block A: Chris Hero vs. Lance Archer

Eight Man Tag Team match: Naomichi Marufuji, Colt Cabana, Taiji Ishimori & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr., Shelton X Benjamin, Taichi & TAKA Michinoku

October 26th (Tournament matches):

Block A: Chris Hero vs. Masato Tanaka
Block B: Colt Cabana vs. Mitsuhiro Kitamiya

October 29th (Tournament matches):

Block A: Chris Hero vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr.
Block B: Colt Cabana vs. Minoru Suzuki

November 3rd (Tournament and Non-Tournament matches):

Block B: Colt Cabana vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima

Six man tag team match: Chris Hero, Taiji Ishimori & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr., Taichi & TAKA Michinoku

November 6th (Tournament matches):

Block A: Chris Hero vs. Naomichi Marufuji
Block B: Colt Cabana vs. Maybach Taniguchi

The finals will happen on November 8th. No word on if either Chris and/or Colt will be in any tag team match. It depends on what will happen during the tournament if either man will make it to the finals. If you understand that both Chris and Colt along with most of the Pro Wrestling NOAH roster are trying to stop Suzuki-Gun, a heel stable from New Japan Pro Wrestling, has turn NOAH upside down and three of it's members has the titles, including the man who created the stable, Minoru Suzuki, who is the GHC World Champion and Killer Elite Squad (Lance Archer and Davey Boy Smith Jr), who are the GHC World Tag Team Champions. So, depends on this tournament, whoever wins, gets a title shot against Suzuki, unless Suzuki wins the tournament.
