Drew Gulak campaigning for a better WWE 205 Live?

I so need to make sure this is true, but, I am sensing something that Drew Gulak is doing and why I have a feeling that this happened before. If you don't know what I am talking about is that the latest of WWE 205 Live is getting to be really interesting, because of some of the guys that I like and know of since Chris Hero left WWE in 2013. I know this is 2017 and Chris is back in the WWE, but, I am not going to be talking about him, okay...well, I am going to mention him because of Drew Gulak.

I read off a review from Wrestling Head's reviewer, Jack Wannan, from this week's 205 Live and since I follow Drew Gulak on Instagram, hinting of what he might be doing in 205 Live has something he did before. When Chris wrestled against Drew at CZW Cage of Death XV (Note this was the first match, due to Chris went to ROH Final Battle to surprise then ROH World Champion Adam Cole and Matt Hardy that would lead a championship match in 2014), Drew came out with Kimber Lee and some other wrestlers as part of a stable Drew created. Called "The Campaign For a Better Combat Zone" or "The Campaign", Drew was trying to make CZW better. I haven't get the ideal of why, but, I wanted Chris be the CZW World Heavyweight Champion for the second time. Drew did retain the title and Chris left.

However, as I dig into what the deal of Drew Gulak and his stable, "The Campaign" and why this will apply to WWE 205 Live is going to be a doozy. First, let's look at the creation of Drew's stable, "The Campaign". The creation happened prior to Drew Gulak wrestling against Chris Hero at CZW Cage of Death XV and prior to Drew Gulak winning the CZW World Heavyweight Championship, the creation of "The Campaign" started back of January 2013, when Drew Gulak got attack by "The Front" a stable created by Sozio. Gulak had wrestlers that he had involve in his feud against Sozio and "The Front" were Kimber Lee, Mr. Tofiga, Dewey Donovan, and Alexander James. They were the heels of CZW, but, if I had watch them, they were more face then heels, since Sozio and "The Front" attack them for no reason.

It seems that the reason why "The Campaign" was created to deal with having a better CZW, without "The Front" attacking them and other wrestlers.

How this will apply to WWE 205 Live? Well, this is going to be very odd, since both Drew Gulak and Kimber Lee are in WWE, but, Drew is in WWE 205 Live and Kimber Lee is on WWE NXT, which she made her appearance on the show under her real name, Kimberly Frankele against Heidi Lovelace, but, under her WWE name (Which by the way it's corny) Ruby Riot. I don't know if Kimber Lee would be in WWE 205 Live, but, that depends on when if she is ready.

As for Drew Gulak, he is mostly is trying to do what he can do, by making it better, but, without any high flying maneuvers, but that is what mostly of 205 Live. But, who will join Gulak? I don't think it will be TJ Perkins, because he does high flying maneuvers, including the 450 splash that he and Austin Aries use to end their matches. I don't know if anyone else, but, if Drew wants to establish this, he will need someone who is like him.

By the way, if you are wondering, why did I choose TJ Perkins and not anyone else on the 205 Live? Well, Drew Gulak and TJ Perkins were once part of a stable Gulak made in Evolve back a while ago called Catch Point and I don't think TJ would, despite both men are heels.

Wrestling is everywhere! A blog...

I guess I got some explaining to do. Yes, I am going to be talking about pro wrestling and I want to get things off my chest.

First, Evolve weekend

If you were following me and see my tweets, yes, I was tweeting Evolve 56 and 57. Although, mostly Evolve 56 then 57, because I got tired and nearly falling asleep watching Evolve 57...I feel embarrassed. I am sure you want to know my opinion about the weekend. Well, first, I would need someone to tweet to me a video clip of Chris Hero cutting a promo on Zack Sabre Jr, which Chris mocks Zack's accent, which to be honest, it's not that bad! *Insert laugh*

Anyway, I believe after this past weekend, things are really going crazy come Wrestlemania weekend. But, I will admit, besides Drew Gulak calling Chris Hero a 350lb Kung Fu turkey, because of what Chris did in a previous Evolve show, by using a bag of ice that Chris taped for I was sure to ice his elbow, that caused Drew to call Chris a name. I am glad Drew Gulak did not curse. That was from Evolve 57.

Sure, I am looking forward to be watching those matches and even I will have to spend my iTunes gift card balance or using my Paypal account to watch. But, I will go over the matches for Evolve 58, 59, Mercury Rising, and I don't ever mention this, but, yes, the CZW show, which I am in shock.

I really enjoyed Fred Yehi. A really talented wrestler. I know that he lost this past weekend, but, I see a bright future in him. After all, Fred whooping Drew Gulak and stomping his hand remind me of William Regal broke Chris Hero's fingers. Yeah, I know I tweet that and I got a long story to say, but for those who are wondering, Go search on Google and type: William Regal vs. Kassius Ohno WWE NXT April 2013. If you saw that match, you would understand that during the match from almost three years ago in WWE NXT, Regal and Hero went at it and during the match, Regal broke Hero's fingers to prevent Hero to not to make a fist to use it to give Regal a rolling elbow. I was really freaking out thinking why would William Regal do that to Chris Hero? But, I know it was Regal's strategy. But, don't worry, Chris fixed his fingers. So, I would love to see more often of Fred Yehi and hopefully he can get respect. I am sure he could be competing in WWE NXT Global Cruiserweight Tournament.

Matt Riddle is a really talented wrestler, too. I know he got robbed at Evolve 56, thanks to Timothy Thatcher trying to end the match with a headbutt and going for the pin to retain the Evolve Championship, but, I am surprised he got Chris Hero to tap out in a triangle hold, at Evolve 57, that I used to see that from The Undertaker in WWE. I know that Riddle is trying to win the Evolve title from Timothy Thatcher because of a deal he has with William Regal. If you want to know, William Regal made a deal with Matt Riddle. If Riddle can beat Thatcher and win the Evolve title, Regal will offer Riddle a WWE contract. I saw that on twitter as how it was said of those who were attending the show live. Matt did demand a rematch from Timothy and he agreed.

Zack Sabre Jr got more work to do come Dallas next weekend. I know he will be wrestling against Chris Hero at WWN Mercury Rising on April 2nd, but, seeing him wrestling at Evolve 56 and 57 proves that he is ready, but, since Chris was on commentary for Zack's match against Johnny Gargano at Evolve 56, Chris feels that Zack needs to have a few more beatings before they go at it. What? Those are his words, NOT MINE! So, we will see as what Chris said, because of what Zack did for the Evolve weekend.


Two, CZW Proving Grounds

So, I want to talk about CZW Proving Grounds, which it's tomorrow night. CZW has announced on their twitter account that a few matches have been change. First off is Tim Donst, which he was suppose to be facing against Danny Havoc, but it change to against Sozio. I don't know much of Sozio, except for he did follow me and then unfollow me on twitter for no reason, but, I am favoring Tim Donst to win. Some other matches have been change including Nation of Intoxication vs. Scarlet & Graves, John Gresham vs. B-Boy, The return of Alexander James, Matt Tremont will defend the CZW World Championship against Devon Moore in a TAIPEI & BARBWIRE BOARD DEATHMATCH! All information can be seen on CZW twitter account and the CZW website.


Three, More Than Mania Shows

I been having a sort of a meltdown due to CZW announced a match that it's going to be nuts and I am maybe going to watch it, if Morethanmania.com is going to update their website to see if it will be watched on WWNLive or the FITE app, since I do not have a ROKU account. Fourth, WWE Global Cruiserweight Tournament

I found out on the WWE Global Cruiserweight Tournament and really confused about this. But, it was announced by William Regal, that the all United States qualifying matches will be taking place at Evolve Wrestling. I don't know if that means just Evolve wrestlers or are we going to see NXT wrestlers too on the show? If so, I have a very bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, Austin Aries, who is on WWE NXT, could be returning to Evolve Wrestling. I don't know why I am center on him. But, I know that he could be one of those in the tournament, including some in Evolve Wrestling like Drew Gulak, TJ Perkins, and Johnny Gargano. I don't know what else or who else is going to be in, but, I suggest to look further onto William Regal's twitter account or the WWE NXT twitter account.

I know that it was talked about on Wrestling Heads Radio yesterday afternoon and no one knows who will be in it. But, I am sure this could be the case. If anyone else who could be in it, it got to be Zack Sabre Jr. I know that he has a few matches coming up in Dallas and he also has a match against Kurt Angle in June, but, I am sure Zack could be in it.

Two things that I learned from this weekend so far

I am doing this and it is about wrestling. So far of this weekend was in favorable for Tim Donst and it had to do with me doing reddit.

What is reddit?

Reddit is a forum that talks about many subjects, including pro wrestling. I did part take in two Ask Me Anything on Reddit within a month and it involved with my two favorite wrestlers, Chris Hero and Tim Donst. About a month ago, I asked Chris about Nick Gage, due to me finding out that Tim Donst would wrestle against Gage and I was wondering if Chris did and he did respond. (Click here to read it.)

I am glad he told me. I did not know who else to turn to. In fact, Chris was right. I found out from Friday night that after Tim Donst beat Nick Gage, Gage attack him. I felt that Gage is a sore loser. However, on Saturday night, it was a different story. Let me go back on Monday night. While everyone was talking about the Monday night thing, I was on Reddit asking Tim Donst about his match against Joe Gacy, when Gacy lost the CZW Wired title at CZW Dojo Wars last Wednesday, Tim was sincere and he wanted to wrestle against Gacy for the CZW Wired title, even though I know that Gacy had to get the title back at the next CZW Dojo Wars. I seen Joe Gacy lose the title to Frankie Pickard on YouTube. But, I read on Twitter on Wednesday night before CZW New Heights that Gacy got the title back at Dojo Wars. With getting the title back and the match set for New Heights, it would be that Gacy would have to deal with a fierce Donst after Donst beat Gage at AIW Absolution Ten. From the fans, it was victory for Donst last night (Despite he cheated and I don't mind). It was for himself because he hasn't wrestled since December, when he won via DQ from Crimson and successfully won the tag team match with the Jollyville Fuck-Its against The Forgotten.

So, from Friday night and last night, beating Nick Gage and Joe Gacy was proven that cancer would not hold Tim Donst down. It makes the fans really happy. It makes him happy. It makes me happy. If you are reading this, you would be happy too. I know it was a promise Tim Donst done in CZW that he said on Reddit to me and it makes me happy.

Fashionable ways...the 15 years of Chris Hero (WWE's own Kassius Ohno)

Author note: This blog is going to describe about the ring gears and outfits of international independent pro wrestling star, Chris Hero, who is currently in his second year in WWE as Kassius Ohno. 

I thought about it for a while and after looking at the tweet of Kassius Ohno, which he posted a photo of himself (On Saturday, while I am on my recovery of an ear ache), I decided to make a blog about it. For those who really don't know him prior to WWE, well you are going to enjoy this. Since next month is going to be the 15 year of him being in pro wrestling is really a rare sight, but, lets look on how he came to be. To begin, yes, he was not known as Kassius Ohno, because he has that name for like a year, but, you are wondering, who was he before then? Well he was known as Chris Hero. He rose to what he was known, until last year when he signed with WWE. But, this is not just his career, but, his style of what he wears in the ring and out of the ring.

I don't know what he wore around September of 1998, but, this video that I will show you of what he look like in 2001/2002. It's a music video of Chris at his worse. Heck let me give you the details from Chris' YouTube account on this music video he put up:

In 2001/2002, Dave Prazak agreed to make a music video for me. I handed over almost all of the footage I had. Months later I got a VHS in the mail labeled "CHRIS HERO MUSIC VIDEO". This is the result. A masterpiece comprised of bloopers and footage of me getting my ass handed to me. The promotions featured in this video include IWA Mid South, PWX/NWA East and IWW in Germany. The wrestlers featured include Cuefa the Flyin Hawaiian, Corporal Robinson, Hyzaya, Shark Boy, Harry Palmer, Suicide Kid, Ian Rotten, Colt Cabana (throwing Gold Bond powder in my eyes), Vince Kaplack, 2 Tuff Tony, Logan Caine, Orion, Michael Kovac, Phil Powers, Bernard Vandamme, Sensei, Samu, Brandon K, Jayden Draigo, Todd Morton, Ace Steel, Mark Wolf (as a referee) and my lovely valet Breeze.

Well, in this music video that was put together by Dave Prazak, Chris had short hair and you can tell he was actually growing it back. Also, in the video you can see that Chris wore pants, a shirt, usually it's the Superman logo, but sometimes you can see that he has an "X" on it. Sometimes he doesn't have a t-shirt, but a singlet with the pants he is wearing. I am sure that he is wearing sneakers, but he might be wearing wrestling boots. He does have elbow pads too. I would say that Chris had this look of sort of a high school teen boy in 2001, but, Chris is around 21 to 23 in the video. By the time around 2003 to 2006, Chris has evolve to more of what he was around 2001/2002. Chris has his hair growing, he did gain weight, but, he has new ring gear which of his own logo, sort of the Superman logo, but, with the letters, "CH" that stands for his name, Chris Hero for his t-shirt. His pants when he is wrestling has his wrestling surname, Hero. Also, it should be noted that Claudio Castagnoli and some other wrestlers, who were in part of the stable, The Kings of Wrestling (or whoever was associated with Chris) has pants that has the surname Hero. I don't know what's the deal with it, but you can ask either Chris or Claudio. When Chris was not wrestling, usually he wear his t-shirts or a muscle t-shirt with blue jeans. I seen that in this music video:

Okay, that video also shows clips from 2007. Chris has evolve again. Chris has this time have his t-shirt to more better, but he also has a newer version of his logo to suit his time in Ring of Honor. He also has these long wrestling tights. By the time in the summer of 2009, Chris finally go ahead and wear the short wrestling tights with his logo on it. It was more of his style. Also as the months go by, Chris also applied to his ring gear, a sleeve, to what he like to use, the rolling elbow, mostly to help cover his elbow pad. Now into that, Chris would wear either a muscle tee or a jacket with a hood when he comes out. You can see it in this video:

If you seen his promos with Claudio Castagnoli, Chris always look layback or sort of a rockstar. Compare to Claudio, Chris is very different in a way you would have to see. Well, we can use this promo from Ring of Honor when the Kings of Wrestling are in their second reign as tag team champions on their longest reign ever in Ring of Honor. Now, I will tell you that Chris is wearing a purple t-shirt and he has a black pinstripe button shirt in this video, but, I will tell you more later about his current looks:




When, Chris signed to appear in Jeff Katz's failed wrestling promotion, Wrestling Retribution Project, as Chris Hyde, the only thing that Chris Hero wear was a leather jacket, since Katz did a smart thing to let Chris keep his ring gear. Here is the photo of Chris with the leather jacket:

When Chris signed with WWE last year, he really kept much of his looks, but, he had to have new ring gear, due to WWE giving him his WWE name, Kassius Ohno, which I say it's sort of stupid. Now, I heard from some sources, especially from Chris himself, that some of his ring gear (Green & Camouflage) are from In-Ring Designs, but there are some others (red, sky blue, yellow, and orange) are not from In-Ring Designs. I don't know as much of what I can tell you. Now, besides that, sometime around the NXT tapings last  August (or September) & December and some from months ago, Chris has develop in something more suitable towards his age. If you watch the episodes from October 2nd, 2012, January 16th, 2013, March 28th, 2013, and April 4th, 2013 of NXT, you should notice about Chris' outfits. He is wearing button shirts, black pants (or gray, in one episode where he was on commentary with Tom Philips and Brad Maddox, before William Regal assaulted Chris), black shoes, and sometimes a jacket (only two episodes he did) or the episode of when WWE decided to have an episode of NXT subjecting the road to Wrestlemania, Chris wore a black vest, while he wore a red button shirt. You can see that in these screen shots I done:

Well, I hope you like this. That is what I can sum up. Sure, Chris has a stellar career as a tag team champion with Claudio Castagnoli or as a singles champion...I should mention that he is the only one who currently had held the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship for 425 days in his only reign.

Is there a possibility for a fourth member of the Shield?

I was so bad enough to read a spoiler from the NXT tapings, since I miss watching it, because of Kassius Ohno has not been on for like I believe nearly a month. But, however since I was so find out from my twitter timeline why The Shield was at NXT and mostly why Dean Ambrose faced against the two time NXT Tag Team Champion, Adrian Neville. So, I found part of a spoiler that I shared with my two friends on twitter Naomi and Domi. We all think about that's possible (or not) that the Shield could have a fourth member. Well if you don't believe me, I give you an piece of the spoiler that I shared with my friends (Source is unknown):

Corey Graves with Adrian Neville beat Scott Dawson with Sylvester Lefort. The Shield came out after the match and said they are back at NXT. Ambrose says Neville stole Kassius Ohno’s spot and calls it an injustice, challenging Neville to a match.  Neville accepts for next week but wants the US Title on the line.

A lot of questions are need to be answer and I can come up with a few. 

Here is what they are:

1. Why is the Shield return to NXT?

2. Why is it that Dean Ambrose defending Kassius Ohno, despite I never recall The Shield defend any Superstar, including the NXT roster, namelessly, Kassius Ohno.

3. Why did Dean wants to face against Adrian Neville?

4. Why did Adrian want Dean to put the WWE US Title on the line?

I am going to be honest, this isn't the first time that Dean would do anything for himself or anyone. I came across a video a while back from three years ago titled, The Champ confronts Hero (You can search it on YouTube to see it). It is from the Philadelphia-based wrestling promotion, Combat Zone Wrestling. In it, Dean Ambrose, then known as John Moxley, who was at the time the CZW World Heavyweight Champion, confronts Kassius Ohno, then known as Chris Hero, about why he could not deal with the opponent that Hero faced and who would be challenging Moxley for CWZ World Heavyweight title, Egotistico Fantastico. Hero states that if Fantastico can beat him, he was sure that Fantastico can beat Moxley. Moxley was pretty sure upset about it after what Hero said.

I know your wondering why does this relate to what's going on. Well I was giving you some kind of ideal about it, and it may have to do with tomorrow night's WWE Pay-per-view, Money in the Bank. The pre-show for tomorrow sets up a tag team match between The WWE Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of The Shield vs. Jimmy and Jey Uso. I spoke to my friend Valentyna about this (as I do this) that the Shield will retain the titles with the help of Dean Ambrose, but he might not be alone. It's possible that a fourth member could debut during the pre-show and I know who it is. Valentyna  agrees with me on this as much as Naomi, but Domi will come to her senses, when the fourth member could be none other then Kassius Ohno. I am saying this, because of what it could be a night that no one will forget. But, I don't think that during the Pay-per-view will Dean Ambrose win, because he is the US Champion. I will however will be rooting on for someone else.
